The November 10 sale at the Hard Rock Cafe in Time Square, New York, will also feature electric guitars that was played by Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, U2 band member The Edge and Bono and Bob Dylan. According to the report that the guitars would fetch between $20,000 and $50,000 piece. Verret said in an interview: “It’s tough for musicians and artists today and this auction presents another opportunity to give back to the music community,” Parts of the sell off proceeds will go to the Musicares charity arm of Grammy Award organizers the Recording Academy that had provide health and other services to the musicians.
